  • My practice as an artist is driven by creative experimentation that is grounded in a solid understanding of materials, technique, and context.

This describes my approach to teaching as well: by providing my students with both the physical and conceptual tools through which to process their ideas, my aim is to empower and excite them as makers. The courses I teach combine rigorous training in drawing and printmedia with contemporary techniques, community-based practice, and site-specificity.
